The police department
was implemented in 1980 and has established itself
as one of the premier law enforcement agencies in
the country. As one of the first 200 agencies achieving
international accreditation, the department is the
proud recipient of some of law enforcement’s
most prestigious awards.
The men and women who serve the department are proud
of working in a collaborative effort with the community
on innovative ways of reducing crime and disorder.
The results have put the City of Port St. Lucie
in the top categories for lowest crime rates for
cities over 100,000 in the nation.
We hope you enjoy your tour of our most informative
